Romea Theater was born as a private theatre in 1863 in Barcelona and was oriented towards the petty bourgeoisie and the working classes. In 1981 it became the Dramatic Centre of the Generalitat of Catalonia, fulfilling the role of National Theater until the National Theater of Catalonia was created.

For this project, I reworked their branding following their first logo idea and turned it into an iconic modern one. To highlight the importance that this theatre has had in Catalonia’s history I used the red color and four bars that can also be found in the Senyera, the Catalan national flag.

In addition to the logo, I developed all the corporate graphic implementations.
